OUR LOCAL WATERS... Come Fly Fish NH!
Welcome to angler paradise where there is no need for "fish tales". After your Agiocochook Fly Fishing Adventure you'll be telling real stories about your catch in our area ponds, streams and lakes.

The Local Waters of New Hampshire's White Mountain region are mountain fed, clean and clear and home to brook and rainbow trout, small mouth bass, perch, pickerel, salmon and bullheads. While fishing, you'll enjoy some spectacular mountain scenery and may even have an opportunity to catch sight of a bald eagle overhead.

Some of our favorites include:

Androscoggin River through Coos County:
The Androscoggin River flows through New Hampshire and Maine for 178 miles. It begins north of the Mt. Washington B & B in Errol, New Hampshire where the Magalloway River joins the outlet of Umbagog Lake. There are two river flow gauges on the Androscoggin before it reaches Shelburne, one in Errol the other near Gorham. This river is particularly popular with anglers seeking landlocked salmon and smallmouth bass.

Saco River from Bartlett to Conway:
The pools stretches and riffles, noted for trout fishing, is stocked with brook, brown and rainbow trout. The 2 1/2 mile section above and below first bridge on River Road (middle picture on the right) is set aside for fly fishing only. You'll enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Washington while looking to your north.

Ellis River in Jackson and Glen:
The Ellis is also stocked with both rainbow and brook trout. There is a spot of this river from the Jackson Covered Bridge to the iron bridge in Glen designated for fly fishing only.

Wildcat River in Jackson:
This federally-designated wild and scenic river is well stocked with brook trout and runs through the Eagle Mountain House golf course, over the Jackson Falls (picture bottom right) and through the village. The rocks and pools are also a great place to relax and escape the warm temps of summer.

Swift River in Albany and Conway:
This river is stocked with brook and rainbow trout and is a great spot for fly fishing but open to all anglers.
